Elders Bid Farewell to Dominica

Wednesday, 15 September 2010, Elder & Sister Hadlock arrived early at the apartment in Picard, which has been occupied by either senior couples or missionary companionships since missionaries came to the island of Dominica approximately four years ago, to help close the apartment and take Elders Maldonado and Schmutz to the airport to their next assignment, not to return to Dominica before their time of service is finished. Four missionaries tried very hard to be happy as table, microwave, water filter, personal possessions left behind by former missionaries, and luggage were loaded into the Santa Fe destined for Puerto Rico and/or Hadlocks' apartment in Roseau, and friends said good-bye for what will probably be the last time.

Elders Maldonado & Schmutz Last Week in Dominica

Elder Maldonado and Elder Schmutz know PREACH MY GOSPEL inside and out! As obedient and faithful servants of the Lord, they shared the knowledge they have acquired through diligent study and prayer, and the testimonies they have as result, with Elder & Sister Hadlock whenever an opportunity presented itself. We're grateful to have been blessed by their teachings and examples!

As the clock on the wall indicates, by 8:50 a.m. the Hadlock Home was prepared Sunday morining for church meetings.
