Infirmary Friends

Marie has lost her legs; Doris her memory. Neither seem "troublesome" or to bring despair. Dona is always happy for a little conversation.
Florencia and Elsie lift our spirits at each and every visit.
Having no legs doesn't get Elsie down. She takes good care of her dolly and shares what little she has with her friend--whether it be only one orange or one grapefruit.
Florencia loves to see Sister Hadlock's eyes. Sister Hadlock loves the light that always shines in Florencia's!
Of course you recognize Brother Johnny. In the beginning he was our only reason to visit the infirmary. When he became a member of the Church and before he came here to live Sister Marina walked with him the approximate three miles from their homes in New Town to the church on Hillsboro Street. . . . .
"VERY FAST" . . . . . Brother Johnny remembers.
