Road was a little crowded on the way to the airport to pick up Eric and Vicki the afternoon of April 7th but after that all went smoothly, including their arrival at Melville Hall Airport aboard this LIAT Dash 8 (blurred by a chain-link fence).
We loaded their little bit of luggage and all the goood things they brought in the back of the Ford Ranger and headed for Roseau.
Vicki and Eric brought Reginald his own set of scriptures with his name engraved on the covers and, boy, oh boy, was he happy!

One thing that had to be done aside from people-watching and site-seeing was laundry, but even that was enjoyable! Brother Johnny was more than pleased with his new visitors!
This part of the trail in one section of the rain forest leads to Emerald Pool
and a refreshingly cool dip for those who opted to participate.
We fell victim to this 'local' at Scott's Head who 'saw us coming'! He climbed a coconut tree, sold us coconut water and the biggest papaya one can imagine....and charged us only EC$50. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!
After Family Home Evening (which was bumped to Tuesday evening to allow us to have dinner at Christabel Cooper's and Elenore Walther's house Monday evening), Terry finally mastered the "up in the air Junior Birdman" maneuver.
And so did his Uncle Reginald............................. ALMOST!
Just as certain as death and taxes, which must be paid when they come due,
all good things must end. LIAT Flight 754 finally arrived in the rain more than 45 minutes late! All that remains after the tail left the tarmac are memories!
